PHS Administration and Staff are proud to announce that our very own Ms. Phyllis Eppes was selected to present at the VBEA 2026 Summer Conference, "Anchored in Excellence, Sailing Toward Innovation!"
This distinguished honor is a direct reflection of Ms. Eppes' hard work, dedication, and commitment to PHS students and the Powhatan community. Through her tireless efforts, PHS l\as become a VITA(Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) site, providing an invaluable service to our community.
Each year, VITA-trained students offer free, basic tax preparation services to low- to moderate--income individuals, seniors, and individuals with disabilities throughout the Powhatan community.
We are incredibly proud of Ms. Eppes and grateful for the meaningful impact she continues to make on our students and community. Congratulations, Ms. Eppes, on this well-deserved recognition!
