The Powhatan County School Board will convene a special emergency closed meeting on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will take place at 4290 Anderson Highway, Powhatan, VA.
The Board will enter into closed session in accordance with the Code of Virginia § 2.2-3711(A) for the following purposes:
Personnel Matter: Consideration of a school board employee disciplinary appeal (Case #PCDC 26-001) under § 2.2-3711(A)(1)
Legal Matter: Consultation regarding pending litigation and next steps under § 2.2-3711(A)(7)
