The Virginia School Board Association (VSBA) is an organization that provides training and services to local school boards, superintendents, and clerks in Virginia. It offers Academic Credit Awards to school board members for attending training sessions. We are happy to recognize the following award winners:
Susan Smith, Board Chair, earned the award of Distinction and a Starfish pin for completing 84 credits in two years.
Jeanne Wade, Vice-Chair, earned the award of Excellence and a silver pin for completing 48 credits in two years.
Dr. Beth Teigen, Superintendent, earned the award of Honor and a gold pin for completing 66 credits in two years.
