Parking Passes

Click the following link to apply for a parking pass. The form must be completed before the $25 can be added to the students' School Cash online.

Medication

If your student will require medication during the 26-27 school year, please plan to meet with the school nurse the week of August 17-21 and during open house. You can contact the school nurse by email Sarah.Jefferson@powhatan.k12.va.us

Parent Drop Off Information

"Bike Rack" barricades have been put in place in the parent drop off section of the road that runs between the High School and football stadium. These are in place because no sidewalk exists in that area, and we want to provide students with protected, hard surface access. This will also restrict road width and prevent vehicles from pulling around, which is dangerous for our students exiting from the passenger side.
We ask that families not use the "ellipse" drive immediately in front of the school. This area is reserved in the morning and afternoon for students with disabilities. Thanks for your help with this!

Student Schedules

Counselors are working on the schedule concerns that have been submitted. Any scheduling errors need to be submitted no later than 8/28. All students are reminded that they will get a paper copy of their schedule in 1st block on their first day of school. Students are encouraged to check PowerSchool on Sunday as some changes in course offerings or balancing of classes may have unexpectedly impacted their schedule.

Summer Reading Assignments

The goal of summer reading is to foster a life-long habit of enjoying books of all types.
Completed summer reading assignments should be submitted to English teachers by Thursday, September 3, 2026. Summer reading projects are worth 5% of the first quarter grade.
