Vision Screening

Student Health Services will conduct vision and hearing screenings for 10th grades students and/or any transferred students during their Health/PE class on Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept 22nd and 23rd. Please ensure your student wears or brings their glasses on their Health/PE day. Students who completed PE during the summer will receive individual evaluations through our school clinic. You will be informed if further evaluation is necessary.

Parking Passes

Parent Drop Off Information

"Bike Rack" barricades have been put in place in the parent drop off section of the road that runs between the High School and football stadium. These are in place because no sidewalk exists in that area, and we want to provide students with protected, hard surface access. This will also restrict road width and prevent vehicles from pulling around, which is dangerous for our students exiting from the passenger side.
We ask that families not use the "ellipse" drive immediately in front of the school. This area is reserved in the morning and afternoon for students with disabilities. Thanks for your help with this!

Senior Info Night is September 17th from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Seniors and their parents/guardians are invited to this program which will cover calendar events, graduation, plans after high school including work, military, college and financial aid. We have several guests that will join us to present this valuable information.

FRESHMEN: A Time To ACT

Counselors will be presenting A Time to ACT through 9th grade English classes September 15th and 16th. This video and discussion program highlights the relationship between mental health and suicide, teaching that suicide is, most often, a fatal response to a treatable disorder—depression. While encouraging individual help-seeking, the program uses peer-to-peer messaging that encourages students to ACT® (Acknowledge, Care, Tell) when concerned about themselves or a friend. As PHS continues to focus on mental health and emotional well-being, we are continually trying to remove the stigma of depression and to remind students that there is always help.
If for some reason you are not comfortable with your child participating, please reach out to your student's counselor to answer any questions you might have before filling out the ACT Opt Out Form.
