Powhatan High School is looking for parent and community volunteers to join PHS Parent Helpers for the 2026–2027 school year!
The mission of PHS Parent Helpers is simple: support and serve PHS staff and teachers through hospitality opportunities throughout the school year.
What Do Parent Helpers Do?
Throughout the year, volunteers help provide special treats and activities for PHS staff, including:
Staff lunches
Coffee carts
Treat carts
Homecoming and prom food
Other staff appreciation activities and surprises
How Can You Help?
There are plenty of ways to participate! Join the PHS Parent Helpers Facebook group to stay up to date on upcoming volunteer opportunities and requested donations.
Whether you have time to volunteer or can contribute an item when needed, your support helps PHS Parent Helpers show appreciation for the staff and teachers who serve our students each day.
