Powhatan County Public Schools (PCPS) is reviewing and updating its strategic plan, Charting the Path to 2030, to ensure it continues to reflect the community’s values, recent state changes, and the division's progress over the past few years.
To guide this important work, PCPS is forming a Strategic Plan Steering Committee made up of students, families, staff, school board members, and community members from across the county. The committee will review data, goals, and key progress indicators to help the division stay on the right path.
Interested applicants are asked to submit their applications by November 10, 2025. Committee members should be able to attend all four scheduled meetings:
Monday, December 8, 2025, from 9:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Friday, January 16, 2026, from 9:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
