Looking ahead to the 2025-2026 school year, we are excited to plan for another wonderful year at Pocahontas Elementary School. Our commitment to providing a nurturing, supportive environment for all of our students extends beyond the classroom, and we want to make sure every student and family has the resources they need to succeed and feel supported. This year, we want to make sure that all students are prepared to return to school with all of their needed supplies. If your family is in need of assistance providing supplies for your child, please complete the request for supplies School Supply Assistance Request.

Backpacks of Love supports our students with food backpacks for the weekends. Check out more information on how to support the organization and food donations needed.

Be sure to visit the "Family Supports for Reading" section in the VDOE Resource Hub, which includes helpful strategies, tips, and fun activities to strengthen reading skills and inspire a love of reading at home.
