Join us for “Pocahontas Gives Thanks” on Thursday, November 12, 2026, an evening of learning, games, and family fun!
As a Title 1 school, we offer additional family engagement events and opportunities to learn about how Title 1 supports our school programming. The majority of the Title 1 funding is used for our reading and math intervention programs. To support that program, we are inviting families to attend a “Pocahontas Gives Thanks” Evening on Thursday, November 12th. RSVP is required to attend the event.
Together, we’ll play math and reading games and share simple strategies you can use at home. You’ll leave with hands-on tools, resources, and games to make learning fun and build your child's confidence in reading and math. You will also learn about Title I and what it has to offer our students!
Please check your email for the event details and schedule.
Please RSVP by November 4th, using the RSVP Form
If you have any questions, please contact our Title 1 Family Engagement Coordinator, Jacqui Mawyer (prc@powhatan.k12.va.us).
