NOTE: Kindergarten students with last names A-L ONLY will start August 24th; Last names M-Z ONLY on August 25th and all Kindergarten students on August 26th

Drop Off and Dismissal:

• Tardy Bell: 8:40am

• Dismissal: 3:30pm

• Students must be in the building at 8:40am or they are considered tardy

Enrollment Documents and Health Records

• All families are expected to submit all required enrollment documents including residency forms, health forms, and any other required documents PRIOR to August 6.

• Any student whose registration is incomplete will not receive information regarding class assignments in the mail until the enrollment process is complete.

  This includes both residency and health records.

• Flat Rock is so fortunate to have an active PTO that supports our students, staff and the Flat Rock community.  The PTO Executive Board members are looking forward to a great year and encourage everyone to join PTO.

Summer Reading Challenge!

• PCPS Elementary Summer Reading Challenge2026

• As we head into summer, it is critical that we help our children maintain the reading progress that they have made during the school year. For this reason, we would like to share some fun and engaging summer reading opportunities with you and challenge your child to read as many books as he or she can!

• Return the PCPS Summer Reading BINGO card to your teacher in the fall and win a prize!
