The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) educators at Powhatan County Public Schools are excited to invite you to the 2024 STEM Expo! We're delighted to offer your family an evening filled with fun and learning, completely free of charge. The STEM Expo is an engaging event that celebrates all things STEM. Around 100 student and educator volunteers will lead various activities highlighting the STEM courses, clubs, and technology available to Powhatan students. To encourage participation, the classrooms in each school with 50% attendance at the event will win a popsicle party! Plus, there will be drawings for several door prizes during the event.

Athletics Signing Day!
Powhatan High School was proud to see an outstanding group of 13 student-athletes sign letters of intent last week at an official Signing Day ceremony. The students committed to the next chapter of their life at the higher education institution of their choice. We can’t wait to see what is in store next for these amazing young men and women of the Class of 2024.
2024 Senior Art Exhibition
The 2024 Powhatan AP Art Exhibit was held Friday at the War Memorial Cultural Arts and Community Center, and the night was a huge success. The annual showcase of 20 Powhatan High School art students not only allowed visitors to see some incredible artwork but to meet the artists and talk to them about their work. The evening of art was enhanced by special musical guest Jesse Whiting. Thank you to everyone who came out to support these talented artists.
