Below is a map of Powhatan County.  Each Public School location is marked on the map.  Click on any location on the left for directions to that location. Detailed written directions for each facility appear in the boxes further below.

• From Charlottesville and points West: Take I-64 East to Exit 159 Gum Springs - Route 522 South Exit. Follow US-522 South to Route 60 (Anderson Highway). Make a right turn onto Route 60 (west) and drive approximately .4 miles to the Pocahontas Landmark Center which will be on your right.
• From Richmond and points East: Take I-64 West. Continue on I-64 West to I-95 South (Petersburg Exit). Drive a short distance on I-95 South (staying in the right lane). Exit on VA-195 South - Downtown Expressway. Go through one 50 cent toll. Move into the left lane and follow the sign "To Powhite Parkway" (VA-76). Follow the Powhite through a second 50 cent toll. Merge into right lanes after toll and follow VA-76 8 miles to VA-288 North. Stay on VA-288 North for 3.5 miles to Exit onto US-60 W/Midlothian Turnpike. Continue to follow US-60 for 16 miles (will change to Anderson Highway at Powhatan County line). Pocahontas Landmark Center will be on your right .4 miles past the intersection of US-522.

• From Richmond: Take Midlothian Turnpike (Rt 60) west into Powhatan County. Take right at the third stoplight in Powhatan (Judes Ferry Rd), school is 1/8 mile on your right.
• From Fredericksburg / Northern VA: Take I-95 South to 295 toward Charlottesville (West). Drive for about 15-20 minutes. Turn on the Exit toward Charlottesville (Interstate 64 West). Take Exit onto Route 288 South. Drive for about 20-25 minutes. Take Route 60 Exit (West) toward Powhatan County. Take right at the third stoplight in Powhatan (Judes Ferry Rd). You will see the Bank of Powhatan on the right. School is 1/8 mile on your right.
• From Williamsburg / Norfolk / Virginia Beach: Take I-64 West to 195 (Powhite Parkway). Take Powhite (toll road, costs $0.75) to Midlothian Turnpike (Rt 60) west. Take Midlothian Turnpike west into Powhatan County. Take right at the third stoplight in Powhatan (Judes Ferry Rd), school is 1/8 mile on your right. OR - Take I- 64 West. 295 towards Charlottesville (No tolls, less traffic) then pick up 288 south. Drive for about 20-25 minutes. Take Route 60 Exit (West) toward Powhatan County. Take right at the third stoplight in Powhatan (Judes Ferry Rd). You will see the Bank of Powhatan on the right. School is 1/8 mile on your right.
• From Petersburg / Emporia: Take I-95 North to Rt 288 North. Continue on Rt288 and take the Powhatan exit west on Rt 60. Take Midlothian Turnpike(60) west into Powhatan County. Take right at the third stoplight in Powhatan (Judes Ferry Rd), school is 1/8 mile on your right.
• From Charlottesville: Take I-64 East to Rt 288. Take Exit onto Route 288 South. Drive for about 20-25 minutes. Take Route 60 Exit (West) toward Powhatan County. Take right at the third stoplight in Powhatan (Judes Ferry Rd). You will see the Bank of Powhatan on the right. School is 1/8 mile on your right.
• From Lynchburg / Roanoke: Take Rt 460 East to Farmville exit. Take Rt. 45 North through Town of Farmville to Rt 60 east. Turn right onto Rt 60 East, follow into Powhatan County. Take left at fifth stoplight (Judes Ferry Rd), school is 1/8 mile on your right.

• From Charlottesville and points West: Take Interstate 64 East to Exit 159 Gum Springs - Route 522 South Exit. Follow Route 522 South to Route 60. Make a left onto Route 60 and drive approximately 1 mile to Route 1007. Make a right onto Route 1007 and proceed to stop sign. Turn right onto Route 13 West. Drive approximately 1/2 mile to the second school on your left.
• From Richmond and points East: Take Interstate 64 West. Continue on 64 West to 95 South (Petersburg Exit). Drive a short distance on 95 South (stay in right lane). Exit on 195 South - Downtown Expressway. Go through one 50 cent toll. Move into left lane and follow the sign "To Powhite Parkway". Follow the Powhite through a second 50 cent toll. Move into the left lane. Take left exit at Chippenham Parkway South. Follow Chippenham Parkway South to Midlothian Turnpike West (right exit). Drive West on Midlothian Turnpike approximately 20 miles. Continue past a large brown sign "Powhatan Courthouse". Move into your left lane. Turn left on Route 1007. Proceed to stop sign. Make a right turn onto Route 13 West. Drive approximately 1/2 mile and the school is the second school on your left.

• From Richmond: Take Midlothian Turnpike (Rt 60) west into Powhatan County. Take right at the third stoplight in Powhatan (Judes Ferry Rd).  Take next right, school is 1/10 mile on your left.

Drive approximately 1/2 mile through school zone past the former Pocahontas Middle School to the second school entrance. Follow the road to school.
• From Richmond and points East: Take Interstate 64 West. Continue on 64 West to 95 South (Petersburg Exit). Drive a short distance on 95 South (stay in right lane). Exit on 195 South - Downtown Expressway. Go through one 50 cent toll. Move into left lane and follow the sign "To Powhite Parkway". Follow the Powhite through a second 50 cent toll. Move into the left lane. Take left exit at Chippenham Parkway South - Follow Chippenham Parkway South to Midlothian Turnpike West (right exit). Drive West on Midlothian Turnpike approximately 20 miles through the traffic light at Route 522 to the school zone. Drive through the school zone past the former Pocahontas Middle School to the second school entrance. Follow the road to school.

• From Charlottesville and points West: Take Interstate 64 East to Exit 159 Gum Springs - Route 522 South Exit. Follow Route 522 South to Route 60. Make a left onto Route 60 and drive approximately 1 mile to Route 1007. Make a right onto Route 1007 and proceed to stop sign. Turn right onto Route 13 West. Drive approximately 1/2 mile to the first school on your left.
• From Richmond and points East: Take Interstate 64 West. Continue on 64 West to 95 South (Petersburg Exit). Drive a short distance on 95 South (stay in right lane).
