  • Triennial Wellness Assessment

    Every three years, school divisions are required to complete an evaluation of the policies and procedures used to promote student wellness. The attached documents reflect the process that was followed and provides the outcomes of the PCPS assessment. The PCPS Student Wellness Policy and the accompanying regulation can be found by clicking on each link.   • P-EBT Benefits Extended Through End of School Year

    Benefits will be automatically loaded to your existing P-EBT or EBT card. If this is your first time receiving benefits, a preloaded P-EBT card will be mailed to the current address in the student’s school record or funds will be added to your SNAP EBT card. Ensure your address is correct within your local school division records. Additional program details such as benefit amounts and issuance dates are available at PEBTva.com. If you don’t receive P-EBT benefits, but believe there are eligible students in your household, please call the P-EBT call center at 866-513-1414 or 804-294-1633. Updated Flyer & FAQ sheets are attached.

National School Lunch & Breakfast programs

Powhatan County Schools participates in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs. Our cafeterias continue to ensure that meals are healthy and well-balanced.
Please continue to encourage your kids to choose school lunch!

Meal Applications Are Accepted All Year!
A new meal application must be submitted each year. If you feel you are eligible, submit a 2020-2021 application. Applications can be obtained from the school office, cafeteria, or online. Only one application is needed per household. Please remember a parent or guardian is responsible for any charges a student makes until the student's application is approved. Faxed and/or scanned applications cannot be accepted. Notifications will be mailed to the student's home after the application is approved.
