Mathematics

Mathematics is a way of thinking, communicating, and learning about the world. The goal of Powhatan County Public Schools is to ensure that each student is challenged to achieve mathematical literacy and power.  Successful learning involves the integrated, connected study of the various mathematics content strands (domains) as well as developed proficiency in understanding concepts, computing fluently, applying concepts, reasoning logically, and engaging with mathematics.
