About Us
Powhatan County Public Schools offers adult education classes to its citizens.
Any member of the community, who is 18 years of age or older (out of high school), may enroll in a variety of exciting evening classes.
After a two year pause, the school division has partnered with Roxanne Salerno from Powhatan County’s Economic Development office, Liz Creamer with the Community College Workforce Alliance, and Jeffrey Elmore at the Regional Adult Education office to increase adult education offerings that address the needs of our local businesses!
Surveys, interviews and conversations with Powhatan business owners resulted in a prioritized list of topics that drove our search for teachers, courses and organizations.
Please remember that refunds will only be granted when a class is filled or canceled.
Classes will not meet when Powhatan County Public Schools are closed for holidays and inclement weather. Every effort will be made to make up classes, but make-up classes are not guaranteed.
